Our luxury portrait studio, located in the heart of Saint John, has allowed us to create more than just pictures but family heirlooms for hundreds of families in the NW Indiana area and beyond.

We not only specialize in luxurious family and children holiday artwork but our interactive, personalized Santa Claus Experience is truly something magical. We are not your average pictures with Santa. From the excitement of that first glimpse of Santa to finding their name on his nice list, children and parents alike, walk away with memories that will last a lifetime. The recommended age for a visit begins at six months or when your child can sit alone unassisted but we welcome family groups of all ages.

When you visit the Santa Claus Experience at Pingoy Portrait Studio you are getting much more than just a picture or photograph, you are getting memories that will last a lifetime accompanied by a art pieces or our popular storybook of those whom are most important in your life; your family and your children.

How to Prepare

Please book far in advance. Plan to arrive 5 minutes early dressed and ready for your session with the Man in Red and come prepared to view and order any add-on items the same day. The only time you’ll be seeing your images is immediately following your session with the guidance of one of Santa’s helpers. All orders will be ready for pick up at our studio (or delivery to your home if you choose our shipping option).

What to Wear

It is important that you pre-plan for your child’s portrait session with Santa. Choosing the appropriate attire will assure that your images have a timeless feel to them. Rich reds and greens are gorgeous on our sets and pajamas are our look of choice. Stripes, patterns and anything with characters or text are discouraged. We love little girls in off-white night gowns and little boys in robes and slippers are darling.

What to Expect

Stress-free and intimate, this pre-scheduled visit with the Man in Red is tailored just for your family.

At your private session, your children will get to experience the magic of Santa and then you will have an adults only viewing session immediately following, where you will place your memorable keepsake order.

Hand crafted artwork purchased separately — most families spend between $500 and $2500 and find that they just cannot leave without a gorgeous storybook album with 5 different interactions with their child(ren) and Santa.

What’s included in the session fee?

-a private and personal session with Santa Claus (15 minutes of dedicated time with Santa)

-At least 5 different interactions with Santa (this is what makes your Storybook Album so awesome!)

-your child’s name on the nice list

-childcare while adults enter the viewing room to view and order pictures and products

-Donation to help support our charity fund

Prints, Wall Art, and our all-time most popular product, the Storybook Album, are available for purchase at your ordering session which takes place immediately after your visit with Santa. Your children will be able to watch Christmas movies fully supervised while you make your selections. We can’t wait to see you!
